October 2013 saw the band release their second album ‘Accidental Hero’. “The album is my first new step out of my old life. It’s a journey about my life, my music, the band and people that come and go. Accidental Hero is the reflection of the present. Music is an emotion for me. Every song was written at different times. This is not a theme album like a lot of artistes do. For me, it’s just storytelling. It’s like reading a book to a kid,” shared Ameeth Thomas, who has written, produced and engineered the songs. The first single released from the album was ‘In your eyes’. The album also features tracks like 3 years, Simple Song, Release Me, Screw Control, and Speed of Love.
The track ‘Screw Control’ recently got featured in the web seris ‘Baked’.Junkyard Groove celebrated a decade of music and madness on June 18, 2015 and toured India including cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai and Delhi.
