Django twins is a duo formed by accomplished guitarists, Siddharth Gautam and Joey Sharma.
Siddharth Gautam hails from Delhi but has been based in Bangalore for the last few years and has been performing with some of the most established acts in the scene like opposite sex, Thermal and a quarter amongst others.
Joey Sharma hails from Nagaland and has made a mark in the Bangalore music circuit by winning The All india Fingerstyle competition 2016.
They are heavily inspired by the music of Django Reinhardt, a French jazz guitarist from the 1930s.
After exploring this idiom for a few years, they formed the Django twins which is the only act playing gypsy jazz in India right now.
The driving acoustic sound of gypsy jazz combines virtuosic skill, joyous uptempo swing and slow burning ballads into an immersive experience like no other.
